Inukai’s paintings and prints are influenced by the early twentieth century masters and traditional Asian imagery. His work encompasses both figurative and non-objective subjects. His graphic work exemplifies his interest in colour and shape using both to convey time and place. Inukai works primarily in oil and canvas. These, both figurative and abstract have sold at auction and he is represented by several galleries including the Sylvan Cole Gallery.
